The ALV (general member assembly) and its documents are formally in Dutch. However, you can still attend and ask us questions at the end of the meeting.

Dear tenant,

On Wednesday, June 14, 2023, at 8:00 PM, we will be organizing our General Members Meeting (ALV) once again. It will take place at our office located at Papenstraat 20W.

As a DUWO tenant, you are a member of the tenant organization WijWonen. During ALV’s, we like to present what WijWonen has been working on recently and discuss any developments within the board. The topics to be discussed during these meetings are listed at the bottom of this email.

Tenant matters

During this ALV, the following topics will be discussed, which may concern you:

Heat issues on Stieltjesweg;
Local policies of DUWO and the Gemeente Delft;
Update on promotion;
The rent and portfolio policy;
Hospitation policy.

Association matters

The following association matters will be discussed:

An update on the policy plan will be presented;
- A brief explanation of the policy plan is provided at the bottom of the email.
Voting on amendments to the bylaws (Huishoudelijk Reglement);
Voting on a request for a budget revision of item 530 – Huur Ruimten;
A Senate change;
Voting on the appointment of new board members.

  - Ruben Frans (General board member)

What’s new in the policy plan?

Every year, the board of WijWonen updates the policy plan. This plan outlines the vision and plans that WijWonen has for the upcoming years. This year, the policy plan focuses on the following topics:

Promotion
- How will WijWonen increase its name recognition in the upcoming period, so you’ll easily know how to find us?
Job Profiles
- There is a new position called ‘Commissioner of Residents’ Committees.’ The person in this role will maintain close contact with the tenant committees to better assist the complexes.
Communication
- WijWonen is continuously working on improving communication with its members. We plan to send regular newsletters to keep you better informed about what’s happening.
Feedback from tenants
- WijWonen will improve the process of gathering tenant feedback in order to make more informed decisions and take their prespectives into account.
